Garlic for importers and wholesalers
You buy cabinets, not supermarket bags. Tell us the centimetre, the pack, and the port.
Most of our quotes go to importers who take one or more 40' reefers out of Qingdao and re-pack or wholesale in their market. Indonesia, Vietnam, the Gulf and Latin America buy this way.
What an importer usually books
- Normal white 5.0–5.5 cm as the workhorse
- 5.5–6.0 cm or jumbo for nicer retail
- Purple alongside white if the market wants colour
- 10 kg / 20 kg mesh if you re-pack locally
- 10 kg cartons if you sell into modern retail
How a quote is built
FOB Qingdao is a band by size and crop year. CIF adds freight and insurance for that sailing. We do not treat an Alibaba screenshot as a contract price.

Mixing sizes in one reefer
Yes, if we plan the cube. 5.0 cm and 5.5 cm together is normal. Jumbo plus processing lots needs a conversation so the fill is not a surprise at the warehouse.
FAQ
What is the usual importer order?
One 40' reefer of whole bulbs, about 26–28 MT depending on pack. Mixed 5.0 and 5.5 cm is common if we plan the fill.
Can I start with less than a container?
Fresh white is priced and stuffed as a cabinet. Peeled and black garlic can be smaller. Say the form.
Do you quote CIF?
Yes — FOB band first, then CIF to a named port. Jakarta is not Rotterdam.
