How a 40ft Garlic Reefer Loads in Qingdao
One cabinet is the usual MOQ. Fill depends on pack — 26–28 MT is a planning number, not a promise on every bag mix.

Fresh garlic is reefer cargo. The usual buy is one 40-foot cabinet out of Qingdao. Small-bag supermarket packs weigh less per cube than 20 kg mesh.
What fits
Plan on about 26–28 metric tons for mixed mesh and carton. We confirm the fill on the booking. Jumbo and 3P bags change the cube.
Temperature
Whole bulbs: typically −3 to 0 °C. Peeled cloves: chilled, often 0–2 °C. Black garlic is usually dry cargo, not a garlic reefer.
Documents
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, phytosanitary as required by the destination. US lots need a facility registration conversation. We send what the lot actually has.
